August’s Reader Requests – An Oddball Collection of Planner Printables

Summer is coming to a close, the new school year is here, and that means August is ending and it’s time for another Reader Requested post. This month’s reader requested printables are a bit of an odd collection. A new to me kind of layout and requests for personal sized printables from more than one source!

These are exactly why I love this series so much. I would never have known that printables like these were needed without the input from readers like you.

How about we go take a peek at them shall we?

This is the feature image for the post "August Reader Request - An Oddball Collection of Planner Printables" The image shows two personal size planner pages lying on a wooden desk and the text at the bottom says "New Layout and More Personal Size Printables."

What is Reader Requested?

Reader Requested is exactly what it sounds like. A series of posts where I take your requests, turn them into printables, and share them here for everyone to enjoy.

The Reader Requested feature post will include 3-5 printables. Some of them may be existing printables with a few changes made to them, others will be brand new.

How to Submit Your Requests

You can submit a request anywhere you follow me. Leave a comment here on the blog. Send me an email. Reach out on social media. Join the Scatter-Brain’s Guide Facebook group where you can share your requests.

Or you can fill out the Printable Request form by clicking the button below.

The more details you include in your request the better able I’ll be to create what you’re in need of.

Just two quick things before we get to the printable.

  1. The only requests I do not accept are those asking me to copy another planner or printable.
  2. While I would love to make all the requests that come in, I can’t guarantee that I will get to all of them.

August’s Reader Requests

I have been looking forward to sharing this post with you all month. These are some of my favourite posts to share because I’m able to create printables you actually need and want. In addition your requests also help flex that creativity muscles and try new things I never would thought of on my own.

That’s why I’m kicking off this post with two printables that are in a completely differently layout than I normally design in.

Landscape Orientation Planners

This request came from The Scatter-Brain’s Guide Facebook group. Group members get priority in the printable requests. And I was so intrigued by the idea of creating planner printables in landscape format that I couldn’t wait to get to these.

I won’t lie it was a bit more of a challenge than I thought it would be. I spent longer than I thought I would trying and discarding ideas both on paper and in my design program. But in the end, it was totally worth it and I’m excited to see how these go over. Because if enough people want them I’m willing to make more.

For now, I have two for you to check out. And I designed them in the Tropical Paradise design so that they will work with the dated calendars for 2026.

Landscape Weekly Planners

First we have the weekly planners. These are kind of like the weekly to-dos, weekly overview, and horizontal week on a page got mixed together.

The left side of the page is for tasks, notes, reminders, and habit tracking. The right is for planning out your week. Sometimes simple is the best option. To that end, these are also only available in letter size at the moment. If you need or would like half letter, drop a line in the comments and I’ll make sure to allot some time to figuring out how to convert these to a smaller size.

Landscape Simple Daily Planners

Next up, is a daily planner. These ones were actually easier to create. I wanted to make a simple daily planner for those who prefer them. The landscape orientation allowed me to fit two days per page, and still offer plenty of room for a task list on the left and an hourly schedule on the right.

I would really love your feedback on the landscape orientation. Like I mentioned above, I’m happy to create more in this orientation if there’s a desire for them.

Personal Size Planners

The request for most of these printables also came from the Facebook Group and the to-do list requests came from an email. I typically stick to letter and half letter size printables because that’s the easier for most people to print. But I’m not opposed to making printables in other sizes.

In fact, you can find a few other personal size printables here on the blog. I’m happy to add more in the size if you want. I’m also happy to try to offer printables in other sizes as well. For now though, how about we check out the ones I made that were requested.

Undated Calendars

First up we have undated calendars to help with monthly planning. I made two different options – single page per month and two pages per month.

There really isn’t much to say, except to note that when you look at the PDFs they may seem out of order, but they were created so that the calendars could be printed double-sided. Just be sure to select “Flip on Short Edge” or “Short Edge Binding” if you’re using a duplexer.

Each page of the file has cut guides to make trimming the pages easier as well as a line in center of each page to help line up with a punch.

Weekly Planners

Weekly planners never seem to go out of style. I love all the different layouts and planning styles that are out there now. But I also have a soft spot for the classics. These ones are vertical, two pages per week. An oldie but a goodie. Due to the size, I opted for a minimal design with no lines so that your plans don’t have to compete with the designs.

To-Do Lists

These last requests came in via email. The request for a copy of the daily and weekly to-do lists in personal size. I wasn’t sure they’d convert well to a smaller size, but I have to say, I really like how they turned out. I’ve even printed some to put in my own planner.

They did end up needing to be two pages to make them work, but in personal size I don’t think that’s a bad thing. But I’ll let you check them out for yourself.

That concludes this month’s Reader Request feature. I would love to hear your thoughts on the printables. Are they something you’ll be able to use in your planning system? Would you change anything to make them better for you? Go ahead and drop a line in the comments below and let me know!!

As always, to make a request of your own, pop up to the top of this post to access the form, get in touch on social media, or leave me a comment letting me know what you’d like to see. I can’t guarantee I’ll get to all of them, but I do try to get to as many as I can.
