About Me

Slightly distracted, mildly frazzled, always crazy busy with something, (even when I’m doing nothing) and loving the adventure of marriage and motherhood!

Yep, that’s me in a nutshell!

Hi there, I’m Alli; wife, mother, printable lover, bookworm, aspiring entrepreneur, and blogger. Being more than slightly scatter-brained and a recovering clutterbug I know, first hand, what a struggle it can be to find harmony in the chaos.

What started out as a way to keep family and friends up to date with our plans to move has turned into a place where I share ideas, especially the ones for organizing our homes and our lives.

More often than not, you can find me in the midst of a mess…

It may not look like it, but this is my happy place, decluttering, rearranging and making plans for how to get our home organized in a way that works for us. | ScatteredSquirrel.com

… of my own making.

I just can’t leave things alone.

Actually that’s not strictly true, I cannot leave things alone when the systems for organizing them are no longer working.  It is my ongoing mission to organize our home in a way that works for us.  It’ is a process that I suspect will never, truly be finished.  I may or may not have a slight addiction to organizing things which totally goes against how I used to be.

Let me tell you, if some of my friends from when I was younger could see my home now, they would think aliens abducted me and put a look-a-like in my place.  I truly am a re-covering clutterbug, so trust me on this, if that is where you at, I know how you feel and you are not alone!

I believe that anyone and everyone can get organized, the trick is to find the ways, items, tools and tricks that work for YOU!  My hope is that by sharing what works for me and my family, I might help you figure out what works for you.

Did I mention Love Printables?

When I'm not busy hanging with family or working on organizing our home, you can always find me in my office, writing a post or creating a printable. |ScatteredSquirrel.com

When I’m not busy tackling our problem areas or looking up and sharing ideas, you can usually find me on the computer working on some new idea for a printable to share on the blog.

I strongly believe that printables can be a great resource on your organizing journey.  They are a fantastic way to keep important information organized, to help you stay on track with all your home cleaning and maintenance, not to mention keeping those favorite recipes easy to find, or creating your choice of time management system that works for you.

The possibilities and uses for printables is pretty much endless in my book.  I love nothing better than letting my creative juices flow to try to find a way to help even one person carve out a little bit of organized bliss.

It is my hope, that by sharing my own journey and ideas (and printables), I can help others find their own path to living a more organized life on their own terms.
