The Two Pages Per Month 2019 Calendars are Ready!

Have you ever worked on a project that seemed to never end?  You know those ones where just when you think you’re finished there is another detail that needs to be finished?  Or another part that needs to be done?

I typically find that when I finish a project like that I’m left feeling kind of blah.  I’m so thankful the project is done, but the reward of having it finished just doesn’t feel like it was worth all the work.  Those are usually the projects I never want to tackle again.

The two pages per month 2019 calendars were starting to feel like one of those projects before I finished.  But you know what?  They are finished and rather than the usual project burnout, I’m feeling over the moon excited by the end result and I cannot wait to share them with you.

The two pages per month 2019 calendars are FINALLY ready!

Printable 2019 calendars featuring two pages per month. They come in both full and half-size and your choice of a Sunday or Monday start day.

Before we jump straight to the calendars I wanted to make sure to give you a heads up about some of the changes made to these versions.

Just like the single page dated 2019 calendars, the two page versions come in both Sunday and Monday start and you have your choice of full and half-size.

This year I wanted to make the two page versions optimized for double-sided printing.  For the full size versions this just simply meant adding in an extra page at the beginning.

The half-size ones were a little more complicated, so be sure to read the printing and assembling instructions carefully.

You see why I’m excited right?

It may have taken me a few years, but I finally figured out a way to make the half-size calendars print double-sided!  But I’ll explain that more down below.  For now, here’s the full-size version

Full-Size Two Pages Per Month 2019 Calendars

I’m thrilled with how these turned out.  Not only are the day boxes a teensy bit bigger, I was also able to add in extra note space.  Rather than just leaving a single column for notes, I use the same format as I did for the single page versions and replaced all the empty day boxes with lined notes areas.

As always, to download one or both, just click on the picture and be sure to read the printing instructions below.

Full-Size Calendar Printing Instructions

This size is really easy to print.  I added in a very simple cover page to keep the printing as easy as I could.

  • For Printers with Duplexing Available
    • Make sure you have two sided printing turned on
    • Make sure that you select long-edge binding from the options for two sided printing, this will ensure that when the printer flips the paper, it does so in right way.
    • You might need to go into Advanced Settings, Options, or Printer Settings to find the binding option
    • Make sure portrait orientation is selected
    • Hit print and your calendars should be just fine.
  • For Printers without Duplexing
    • You will have to manually flip your pages.  I always recommend a test print first just to be sure you’re flipping it the right way.
    • Make sure you have the page orientation set to portrait
    • Print all odd pages first.
    • Once those finish printing, take the stack and flip and/or rotate so that your printer will print on the blank side.
    • Print all the even pages

Printing the full size ones are pretty straightforward.  Once you have them printed you can add them to your planner or hang them on your wall, however you typically use your calendars.

Half-Size Two Pages Per Month 2019 Calendars

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be sharing these half-size ones with you!  Not only are they double-sided printing friendly, but I set them up so that once they’re printed you can just fold the pages in half to make a booklet.  No cutting needed if you don’t want too.

Just a quick warning before you open the calendars – it will look like none of the months, except for July, line up properly.  This is because of how I designed these versions.  I promise that once you print and cut (or just fold) them, they will all line up as they should.  Make sure to read the printing and assembling instructions below before you print.

Half-Size Calendar Printing Instructions

For anyone who is used to using traveler notebook printables, this will probably be an easy thing for you.  For everyone else, I know it looks confusing when you open the file, but it’s actually super easy to do.

The printing instructions are almost exactly the same as the ones for full-size with just a couple of changes.

Printing

  • For Printers with Duplexing Available
    • Make sure you have two sided printing turned on
    • Make sure that you select short-edge binding from the options for two sided printing, this will ensure that when the printer flips the paper, it does so in right way.
    • You might need to go into Advanced Settings, Options, or Printer Settings to find the binding option
    • Make sure landscape orientation is selected
    • Hit print and your calendars should be just fine.
    • Make sure to keep the pages in the order they come out of the printer.
    • Make sure to keep the pages in the order they come out of the printer.

Assembling the Calendar

  1. Keeping the pages in the order they printed, turn them so that the month of July is facing you.
  2. At this point you can simply fold the whole thing in half, with the two pages of July facing each other.
    1. Use an elastic, string, or staples to hold the pages together and you have a calendar notebook.
  3. Or you can cut the pages in half down the middle. (at the 5.5 inches mark)
    1. Once you’ve cut the pages, grab the left hand stack and flip it over onto the right hand one.
    2. Hole bunch or bind as usual.

Please note – all printers are different, some settings may not be called the same thing.  Also, your printer might print the pages in a different order.

If you can not see the full month of July, don’t panic.  Carefully look through your pages until you find it.  You may need to flip each page to make July show up in the middle.

You’ll know you did it right if July is showing on one side of the stack and the cover page is showing on the other.

Fun Fact

This is the second version of this post.  The first version ended up being so confusing to write that I realized there was a major flaw in my design for the two page per month calendars.

If the instructions for printing and assembling were confusing enough during the writing process that I was feeling lost – I knew that I’d made things more complicated than they needed to be.

So I went back to the drawing board and worked on creating an more user friendly version of the half-size two page per month 2019 calendars.

I have my own personal criteria for creating printables aside from needing to serve a purpose and look nice.  I strive to make my printables as ink and paper friendly as I can.

It would have been much easier to just make the half-size calendars with one printable on each piece of paper, but that would have meant that you’d have to trim each page and that’s a lot of paper that would end up going to waste.

In the end, I think the challenge of making it work while still fitting two half-size printables to a page created a more a versatile product in the end.

I can’t wait to see how you use these!

Love, love, love the two-page month calendars. The only thing that would like to suggest are lines in the date blocks. This would make it much easier and cleaner to write in.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

I tried putting lines in, but I couldn’t get the lines in the boxes to match the lines in the notes without the spacing being all wonky. It looked like a mess. I’m working on a couple of different ideas, testing things out. When I figure out a solution that works, I’ll be sure to share them.

      1. Ashley Kish says:

I love love love this calendar I just wish there were lines .. let me know when you figure it out 🙂 Thank you

        1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Ashley, I tried to make a lined version and I just couldn’t get them all to line up well or keep the overall design from looking too busy. I’m toying with a few ideas for next year, but I’m afraid these ones won’t be lined.

i need the 2020 calendar like this one is it completed

          2. ScatteredSquirrel says:

The 2020 calendar are up. I released them earlier this year. They are not in the same design because I change them each year. If you type 2020 calendars into the search box on the side bar, the post with them will come up in the search results.

          3. Awesome! Are you going to be making 2019-2020 academic calendars?

          4. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Yes, I do. If you search academic calendar in the search box on the side bar they should pop up in the results for you. I hope that helps.

  2. Teri Madden says:

You are so awesome to do this every year! you rock! I just love this calendar. The half size is perfect, more convenient size to carry around in a bag, large one is perfect for home.
    Thank you so much
    Teri

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

I’m so happy you like them Teri. I enjoy making them and it’s nice to know that they are getting used! I use two different sizes too because it’s nice to have one that is portable and one that can stay at home.

  3. THANK YOU ALI!!! These are beautiful! I have looked all over the net for planning and calendar pages but they all seem to be either too plain with no color or theme at all or even worse, they are too colorful and too ornately decorated, ugh 😑
Not yours though! Your pages are simply beautiful. Fully functional and nothing unnecessary or useless. Many calendars I have found even make the simple mistake of titling the lines on the side with “Notes” or “To-Do” but I love that you left the lines without titles! Thank you so much for this and all of your free printables!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Michaela, Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m thrilled that you like the calendars. I try really hard to keep the printables as functional as I can, but still a little fun. I hope you enjoy using them!

  4. Way to go on nailing the “automatically printing double sided” thing on the half sized monthly calendar!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Thanks Sarah! It’s taken me a few years and a lot of missed tries, but I’m really happy with how they turned out.

  5. Shannon Crouch says:

So I love the thoughtfulness in this setup, but is it possible to put together a version that just has them lined up in order? I tend to print the pages out and then insert weekly pages between months. I reordered the 2018 calendar to suit my needs but it is super confusing trying to get things straight.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Shannon, yes it is possible. They’re coming out next week.

  6. I just want to say a big thank you for this…your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!
I used your calenders last year and loved it! So I kept the bookmark and was waiting for the 2019 version. I love the 2 pages per month version. A very big thank you!!

I’m so happy you like them Cathy! I hope they come in useful for you.

  8. Connie Vela says:

Love your printables!! I usually use the 2 page per month calendars but am trying something new. I want to put a 1 page horizontal monthly calendar on the left and a bill tracker/monthly bill page on the right. Do you make pre-dated, full page horizontal versions of your monthly calendars? I would LOVE these!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Connie, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by a horizontal calendar? Are you thinking something like a list of dates running down the one side with lines for writing things in? I’m always open to suggestions.

  9. Tabatha B says:

I was looking for new printables and your site was my first stop as I have loved your printables in the past. As usual, you did not disappoint. I love the two-sided printables for 2019. Thank you for making these available. I try to make my own and have been somewhat successful but they are a lot of work. I appreciate that you take the time to do this. Have a wonderful day.

  10. will you fix the January pdf for the half size page? there are 2 pages for January.

  11. Thank you so much for preparing these and sharing them! I found you last year and use your 2-paged monthly calendar in sheet protectors as a kind of goal tracker and journal. It is wonderful to page back thru the year and see the conquered challenges and blessings received! I have just printed out 2019 and eagerly anticipate the events that will be logged on these simple, EFFECTIVE sheets. Thank you, again!

  12. Thank you so much for your amazing and thoughtful printable calendar! Thanks a lot!

  13. Way to go!!! Thank you for the 2 page double sided half-page print version. So easy to print from your instructions!! LOVE IT!! Thank you for all the detail you put into your work, you are awesome!!

  14. Thank you for these. I use the half-size pages. They printed perfectly. The hardest part was punching holes to fit my binder! And that was my challenge, not yours! Thank you! Thank you!

  15. First I want to say thank you for creating these wonderful pages. I thought you might want to know there is a glitch with the 2 page weekly sheets. When you print over 500 or blank paper go through the printer before it prints your documents. I don’t know if you have a fix for this

  16. These are awesome!!! Thank you so much for doing this. I’m assuming if I could ever have gotten to the front to back in order correctly there would have been a ream of paper and two print cartridges sacrificed in the attempt! I only accidentally mis-punched two pages putting them into my disc book. LOL

  17. Thank you so much for this! You just saved me so much time, hassle, and some money as well.

  18. Thank you for the time you put into this every year. This is the ONLY place I go to print these calendars because your printables always look so clean and nice! Plus the two-page design makes organizing my home and work calendars so much better!

  19. Carol Jansson says:

Love your calendar! Thank you for a beautifully clean and useful design!

  20. A big thank you for your efforts!. The 2-page monthly calendar is awesome! I appreciate the amount of hard work you have put in.

  21. Sandra Williams says:

Thank you so much for creating these calendars. I have used them for several years and appreciate the hard work that goes into your planner pages. While I don’t think it’s in the cards for me to become totally organized, your monthly pages help me keep track of appointments and other useful and needed information.

  22. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! i love having the half sized version, but it was always such a mess to make sure i printed them correcly, thank you for making it directly like this thank youuuuu. also, loving this year’s design. i just finished printing it and making it half -half sized (i like it kinda pocket sized), and tho -because of printer settings and such- i have to trim it a bit, it’s pretty much perfect, so thaaaaank you again.

  23. Thank you so much! It is perfection! I love these pages and this is going to work perfectly in my planner. Thank you for your time and effort!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

I’m so happy to hear that you like the calendars Jennifer. I’m thrilled that they’ll work well in your planner.

  24. I can’t say that I like the new layout for the half-size calendar pages. I know you did it to save paper, but I like have my months separate as I use two sided tape to attach monthly goal planning pages between each month’s overview calendar. That way I have my monthly goal pages right behind each month and can easily access them for weekly planning throughout the year.
I know all I’ll have to do is mess around for a bit and match up each month, so it’s not a huge deal, just a little more work.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Becky, thanks so much for you feedback. I’m sorry the new layout didn’t work for you and that it ended up being more work for you. I’ll see if I can tweak or change things up for the new calendars this year. Maybe I can find a happy medium between double-sided friendy and flexibility. Not sure how it will work, but I’ll see what I can do.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

      You are very welcome.

  25. Amazing half -sized two pages per month calenda, just was a looking for . Thanks for sharing. I have the perfect cover for this, an image of Snoopy. Happy 2019 from Caracas, Venezuela.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Thanks Natalie, I’m happy you like them! Happy 2019 from Canada!

  26. I love how clean your calendars look! I was wondering if you have 2020 & 2021 full 2 page monthly calendars? I want to get it bind but I like be able to look back on previous years and plan for the future. I’m a teacher so I’m always planning 🙂

    thanks!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Thanks Kimberly. I don’t have 2020 and 2021 done yet. 2020 will be released in April and 2021 won’t come out until next year. They take a lot of time to make, so doing more than one year at a time is a little too time consuming.

  27. Thank you! This is perfect and the instructions were perfect. Worked the first time (which is miraculous for me)! Exactly what I was hoping to find when I did a quick search for a new calendar.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Oh I am so happy to hear that Shannon! I hope you enjoy using it.

  28. Hi ! I like the Full-Size Two Pages Per Month 2019 Calendars. Will you be offering these every year? Catherine

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Catherine, yes, the full-size two pages per month calendars will always be offered each year. 🙂

  29. Hi! Thank you so much for making these calendars available! You have been a lifesaver in my cluttered life. But as I was printing the rest of 2019 starting in April for my planner and I noticed that the calendar dates are off for the 1/2 pages. HELP?! I LOVE YOUR PAGES lol
    THANKS

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Denise, thanks for taking the time to get in touch. The pages in the half-size version are out of order. If you print just from April on, you won’t get all the right pages. I know it’s wonky, but it was designed this way so that it could be printed double-sided. I’m sorry for the confusion.

  30. Rebecca Heckert says:

I want to give a huge thank you for the half size pages! It is difficult to find half size printables and you have a wonderful collection! No more long days of resizing and trying to print 2 per page and getting it wrong!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

You are very welcome Rebecca! I hope you enjoy using the calendars!

  31. Hi Ali, I wanted to thank you for these pages. I prefer building my own planner and they are just the style I need for my DISC bound planner. They are even designed in my favourite colours.

I found that the printing without duplex works best on my HP LaserJet if I also select “Reverse Pages” for the second side. I just pulled the pages out, flipped the whole stack, and off to the races!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Hildebryn, thank you so much your kind words. I love that you were able to get them printed no problem. I’m going to have to try that Reverse Pages tip. I wasn’t sure what that was for. Thanks so much for sharing that.

  32. Megan Sorensen says:

Thanks for sharing these! This calendar is perfect!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Megan, I’m so happy to hear that you like them!

  33. I’m so happy I found your page via google search!

I have ADHD and I NEED to have a calendar. The 31 days to organization is a great bonus! I’m so excited to get started!

Being dependent on Planners since.. Jr. High??? (so for AGES!!!) I really wanted to customize my planners, and printing my own pages seemed like an easy money saver too. These are PERFECT for my needs. Thank you so very much!!!

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Jennifer, I’m happy you found us! I understand the need for a calendar. I have ADD too, and the calendar and a planner built to fit my needs are two of the crucial tools I use to help manage it. I’d be lost without them. I hope you find some printables that will work for you. I’m always open to request as well, so feel free to reach out if you’re looking for something but can’t find it.

  34. Kim Bruening says:

I love your calendars. They are perfect for myself and my classroom. Do you have any idea when the 2020 calendars will be ready? True it is early in 2019, but I am planning curriculum for 2020 already. Thank you for providing such a great product.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Kim, I’m thrilled to hear that you love the calendars. The 2020 ones are already up on the blog. You can find them by clicking the blog button on the menu bar and scrolling through the blog page.

  35. These are WONDERFUL! Every year I buy a calendar and then end up copying the pages in order to get the format I need for my custom homeschooling planner. Your 2-page month spread is EXACTLY what I need! Thank you so much – I’m sure this took quite a lot to format!!
Question – when will the 2020 be available (I have an academic year planner running June-May:) Thank you, again.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Hi Tammy, I’m so happy that the 2 page per month calendars fit your needs. The 2020 ones are already up. Just click the blog button on the menu bar and scroll down a little until you see the post.

  36. Thank you and cant wait for the 2020 calendar! Any idea when this will be ready? I use it for lesson planning and love to get my calendar ready over the summer for the upcoming year! Thanks so much!

Hi Emily, the 2020 ones are up and ready to go. I hope you enjoy using them this year.

  37. I love the 2019 printable calendar. Thank you!
I’m trying a written calendar for budgeting and this is just what I needed.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

I’m thrilled to hear that Jules. I hope you enjoy using it all year.

  38. Thanks for sharing this printable! It’s so well-done…I love it! Looking forward to your 2020 design.

    1. ScatteredSquirrel says:

Thank you so much Roz. The 2020 calendars are up on the blog already if you’d like to check them out.

  39. First off, your amazing, I’ve been silently using you since 2016, & so grateful for the gift of your service and quality. 2ndly I was wondering if you ever thought about making a 2 sheet of the year? with lines in and around each month. I need one every year & I usually get it from some random source, but if I could also get those here then I’d need not search anywhere else for my organizational needs. thanks either way looking forward to your 2020 supplies.
