It’s Family Day!

This year, our province (British Columbia) introduced a new holiday; Family Day!  That’s right, it is a holiday dedicated to families.  How cool is that?  The boys are both home from school, and right now they are hanging out, together!  It helps that I’m allowing them to play video games, ha!  but I totally spaced on the holiday and had nothing planned.

Of course, this also means that they are down stairs with me, infact they are right behind me, chatting, laughing, and just generally being noisy, and it is making it really hard to get anything done on the computer.   This is the downside to having my office on the main floor, in the “formal” dining area.  It’s making it really hard to write up posts.  Not just because the noise is distracting, but because I want to go hang out with them, and join in on the fun!

I still have a few things to finish up for today’s planned post, and I will get it out there, but probably not until this evening.  Because in the spirit of this new holiday, and because Travis has to head to work in a few hours, I’m going to shut down the computer, and go spend time with the family.  I hope you all are having a great Monday!
