{Day 14} Holiday Half-Size Checklists

Welcome to Day 14 of the 31 Days 31 Printables series.  If you’re just joining us, I’m spending the whole month of October sharing at least one free printable each day.  Right now I’m working on updating my holiday planner printables, and I’m loving how they are turning out.  I’ve gotten a few days behind thanks to life being… well life! But I’m slowly put surely catching up.  I’m being rather pertinacious about getting in all 31 posts this month. (do I get bonus points for using my word of the year in a sentence?)  I realized after I did up the last two posts (see them here and here) I forgot one key element to them – their half-size counterparts.  Perhaps it was meant to be, because those two made the perfect team for some holiday half-size checklists.

I have to admit these half-size printables are really growing on me.  I use half-size (or A5) for my personal planner, and I’m really liking that I can make a new section in it for holiday stuff.  Especially for things like gift guides, and these two check lists.  Having them in my personal planner makes planning my weeks out so much easier.  I’m not as likely to forget about some of these tasks, if I have the checklists in my planner.

When I realized I had forgotten about making a half-size version of the two printables seen above, I was kind of disappointed in myself.  But then I started thinking about, and realized that maybe it was a good thing I had overlooked it, because now I could pair the two of them together, and save some paper.  I put both into page protectors and use dry erase markers to cross off the items on them, so I can reuse one copy over and over again.

These two half-size checklists are destined to find their way into a page protector in my personal planner that way I always have them with me.  Even though the holiday season isn’t quite here yet, it’s nice to get a bit of a jump on the planning.

Don’t forget, if you have a suggestion for changes you would like to see to old printables, or even new printables you would like to see offered here, let me know in the comments, send me an email, or reach out on social media.  You never know, I might choose your idea next!
