July’s Reader Requests – Party Planning Printables!!!!
Can you believe that July is almost over? How is your summer going? I hope that you’re getting time to enjoy it. After taking some time to focus on some much needed website updates (all the planner printable collection now have their own landing pages) I’m back with some new, requested by you, printable!
Reader Requested posts are my all time favourite posts to share, and I can’t wait for you to check out the party planning printables I made for you this month.

What is Reader Requested?
Reader Requested is exactly what it sounds like. A series of posts where I take your requests, turn them into printables, and share them here for everyone to enjoy.
The Reader Requested feature post will include 3-5 printables. Some of them may be existing printables with a few changes made to them, others will be brand new.
How to Submit Your Requests
You can submit a request anywhere you follow me. Leave a comment here on the blog. Send me an email. Reach out on social media. Join the Scatter-Brain’s Guide Facebook group where you can share your requests.
Or you can fill out the Printable Request form by clicking the button below.
The more details you include in your request the better able I’ll be to create what you’re in need of.
Just two quick things before we get to the printable.
- The only requests I do not accept are those asking me to copy another planner or printable.
- While I would love to make all the requests that come in, I can’t guarantee that I will get to all of them.
July’s Reader Requests
This month’s printables are all part of a set to help make party planning easier. The request for these printables have come from multiple people and sources. Mostly from comments here on the blog, but also a few email submissions.
I decided to make all the requests and create a mini collection of party planners. They were so much fun to make and I truly hope that you have just as much, or more, fun using them. But enough rambling from me, let’s check out the printables.
Just a quick note – remember to get a copy of the printables for yourself all you have to do is click or tap the image of the ones you want.
Get Together Planner
This planner is a generic copy of my Summer BBQ planner. It’s a wonderful tool to use to plan casual get-togethers, family picnics, and more. There’s room for planning the menu, the guest list, games and/or entertainment, and your task list. It also includes a potluck section so you can ensure you don’t end up with only desserts.
Where this one differs from the original, is that there’s a second page for notes, ideas, or just more room planning as needed.
Also, this one comes with a half letter.
Party Planner
Planning a party or event that requires a little more detail than a casual get-together? No worries, this party planner has you covered. Keep track of the details, guest lists, decor ideas, menu and more, all in one handy place.
There’s also a notes page that is a grid, so you can create your own planner/trackers bullet journal style, sketch out ideas, or just use for notes and lists.
Hostess Cheat Sheet
If you check out the holiday planning library – you’ll see that I have a few different versions of this printable. I’m happy to say that I now have one more that isn’t related to a holiday.
Sometimes the preparation side of party planning gets forgotten in our excitement for the event itself. This checklist is here to help keep that from happening. It’s a time line based checklist to help you get ready for hosting a party without feeling overwhelmed. Follow the steps that work for you and ignore the ones that don’t. I’ve also included a second page for you to create your own checklist and make notes.
Bonus Planning Tip: Write these tasks into your planner on the days you need to do them. This way you can see what needs to be done when.
Go-To Purchases Trackers
I love reference pages. They help us save time, minimize the mental load, and just make things so much easier. This one is place to keep track of all the things you typically purchase for your parties.
The table layout makes it super easy to keep track of your go-to items. There is a column for the item, the store, whether you pick it up in person or if you can get it delivered, when you need to order it by, and the amount. That last column you could use for the price or how many you usually need.
The nice thing about this planning page is that you can use a different page for different kinds of parties. Like one for kid’s birthdays, one for adult birthdays, one for dinner parties … you get the idea.
Favourite Party Friendly Recipes Lists
This one is another reference list. It is exactly what it says it is – a page to keep track of recipes you like to use for parties. They layout is a simple three column spread. The first is for the recipe, the second is for where you can find the recipe, and the third is for the page you can find the recipe on (if applicable).
Having them all in one easy to access place not only saves time, but you can also pull this out to help you with planning the menu for your party. And just like the purchase tracker, you can use different pages to organize your recipes in ways that work best for you. Some ideas include by event type, dish type, or kid friendly vs adult only. Whatever works best for you.
That concludes the party planning printables – for now. If there’s one you’d like to see added, please let me know. I’m happy to keep this collection growing. And if party planning isn’t your jam, but you’d like a printable tool or planner for something else, don’t forget to fill out form or get in touch on social media and let me know what you’re looking for.
I can’t guarantee I can get to them all, but I try my best to get to as many as I can.
